Sad News as Allgoods is to close

retail 1Allgoods of Ely announced this morning that it is due to close its door on September 17th.

The independent on Market Place has been a busy shop for the past few years but the owner has struggled to balance her work and life.
While trading, its range of products have grown and has pride itself on supplying great British and European food that all food lovers will enjoy.
The owner Tracy Allgood posted this morning on her Facebook page, “Hello All, I’m sorry to announce that Allgoods of Ely will be closing down on 17th September. Unfortunately, I have struggled to find a work/life balance that means I can spend time with my family and I’ve finally decided to call it a day. We have received an offer on the premises and another family business will be taking over in due course.
“We will be holding a closing down sale starting today with 20% off everything (except cheese, scotch eggs, brownies, alcohol and hot drinks). We will not be selling gift vouchers from now on but will honour any outstanding gift vouchers. We’ll also be closing on Sundays and Mondays in the interim.
“I would like to thank everyone for making our time in the deli so enjoyable and thank you for all your support over the past couple of years.
