Schultz Siblings take home impressive 26 medals!

City of Ely Swimming Club took a squad of 25 to Luton at the weekend, a sport that can be enjoyed by all the family saw five sets of siblings competing.

The Schultz family will need to find extra space for the 26 medals that 11 year old Jacob and 9 year old Lyra brought home between them. Followed closely by the Davey brothers 13 year old Oli and 9 year old Dexter with a total of 13 medals.

There were also top performances from 10 year old Peony Jackson securing 13 top 3 positions and 13 year old Oliver Fuller with 12 top 3 positions. 

In total the Ely team secured 100 personal best times, a great achievement by all that took part and a significant number as the club celebrates its 100th year this year.

The rest of the team securing personal best times were: Emily Barnes, Isabella Beardmore, Xanthe Rowe, Felicity Gates, Olivia DSouza, Madeleine Pillow, Lauren Turnock, Shea O’Brien, Gracie Wickens, Lola Carey, Keira Mavin, Erin-Mae Carey.
