Selfless Sophia set to get locks bobbed this Saturday for kids with cancer

Selfless Sophia Isaacs – the Ely schoolgirl featured on the front cover of E4Ely Magazine back in May – will have her luscious locks bobbed this Saturday to help youngsters battling cancer.
She has already raised £425 (£497.50 including Gift Aid) for The Little Princess Trust, a charity supplying real hair wigs to kids who’ve lost their own hair due to cancer treatment.

The Ely St John’s School year five pupil was initially hoping to raise £100 in sponsorship for the charity – but thanks to people’s generosity, including that of Spotted in Ely followers, she has almost drummed up five times that much.
Sophia has raised some of that cash by selling her toys, including her beloved Build A Bear pals.
There will be a collection bucket outside the Pure Ely salon on Saturday, when Sophia will have her charity haircut.
It would be amazing for her to hit the magic £500 mark! If you could spare a few pounds to support the plucky 10-year-old achieve that goal, it would raise even more money for a wonderful cause.
