Jon Price and Andrew Scarlett have been recognised for services to Ely Runners and their local and wider community.
Jon and Andrew, both Soham locals, are the Event Directors for Soham Village College parkrun, which they set up and now oversee. They are also club members of Ely Runners.
Their award was announced at the recent Ely Runners AGM. This is in recognition of what they have done for the club (as members love Soham Village College parkrun) but mainly for the wider community. It should be mentioned that the parkrun they have set up is inclusive; and can be walked, jogged or ran!
Thank you, Jon and Andrew for setting something up that has become so important to many people!
