Children and staff alike were beary surprised when Pudsey made an appearance at the Lantern Community Primary School on Friday.
The Ely primary was one of numerous schools across our district fundraising for the BBC’s annual Children in Need appeal.
Youngsters swapped their purple and yellow uniforms for bright spots and fluffy headbands, each making a voluntary £1 donation to the charity, which raises money to help children and young people across Britain each year.
So far Children in Need has raised a record £46.6 million nationwide.
