Over 19th and 20th March a team of 36 swimmers from City of Ely ASC attended the Newmarket Spring Open with amazing success.
The team won Top Visiting Team, in addition Sarah Hardiment won Top Girl overall with Jorja Atkinson runner up and Daniel Kendall won Top Boy overall with Jacob Schultz runner up. Congratulations to these swimmers for their outstanding performances competing against swimmers from 10 other clubs.
Three swimmers achieved new regional qualifying times Jacob Schultz in the 200 Fly, Josh Black in 50 back and Daniel Kendall in the 100 Fly.
All our swimmers swam well with numerous personal bests and medals, they all received points for their places in races which helped us win the Top Visiting Team.
