Over 50 brave souls descended the rear face of Needhams Tower on Saturday in an event organised by old classmates.
The event was organised by old Ely College chums who will be 50 this year to raise money and awareness for Little Miracles and Ely Community First Responders. The exact amount is not yet known but with all the various activities it is thought each charity will receive £1,000.
With the professional hands of Dave Talbot and Robyn Nelson, teams from Hilton Hotels, Litle Miracles, the Police as well as former students and friends every person, including some more nervous than others, manage to get from the top to the bottom of the old College Block.
Other entertainment was available on the day including a trio band and the Rocking Ukeleles. a bouncy castle for the kids (in which the adults had great fun, especially while trying to take a serious photo) and the Police brought a car to show people around.
Various companies around Ely donated prizes to the raffle and tombola.
