The Library Presents is coming to Haddenham

‘The Library Presents’ is back for a brand-new Spring season of events.

Now reaching 25 locations, Haddenham Library is one of the only two volunteer run libraries to be included in the programme, as the activities are pushed out to more libraries across Cambridgeshire than ever.

The new season brings high quality, affordable arts activities into the heart of towns and villages across Cambridgeshire, and includes performances and workshops that have been hand-picked by over 350 local people who have helped to shape the tailor-made programme.

‘The Library Presents’ is run by Cambridgeshire County Council working with Babylon ARTS and funded by Arts Council England.

Andrea Chambers, Chair of Haddenham Library Friends said: “We are really excited to have a Samba drumming workshop on Saturday 25th April and then we are welcoming Devious Minds – a magical extravaganza – to the village on Sunday 31st May.”

“We’re a small volunteer run village library but thanks to having all the wonderful space available in the main part of the Arkenstall Village Centre next door we are able to bring some really exciting entertainment to Haddenham”.

“Both events are suitable for families – the drumming workshop is suitable for anyone aged 7 and above and Devious Minds, aged 8 and above. The Library Friends and volunteers will be providing refreshments at both events.”

The 2020 Spring Season brochure is available now and tickets can be booked online at www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/arts or in participating libraries.
