The Soul and Serenity Fayre – An event to combat the post festive lull

An event to combat the post festive lull – finding your calm!

Sunday 12th January 2020 sees a brand new event for Ely – The Soul and Serenity Fayre will bring some of the best Complementary therapists, retailers and mediums to Ely’s scenic riverside. The Maltings will play host to this brand new event between 10am and 5pm.

The Soul and Serenity Fayre is the brainchild of the team at PositivEly Treated, who recently created and hosted Ely’s first Pagan and Alternative Fayre – an event which was met with an incredible response. Building on this, the team are putting their spin on the Mind, Body, Spirit and Wellness events and bringing together a wide range of Complementary therapists including an Angelic Reiki Master and a Spirit Surgeon.

There will also be a wide selection of retailers offering crystals, incense, clothing, singing bowls and more! Add to that a wonderful selection of mediums, tarot, oracle and rune readers and you’re in for an amazing day… And there is still more! There will be a series of yoga workshops, a reiki energy share and a full compliment of talks on the day featuring diverse topics and speakers including the internationally recognised Isaac George who will be speaking about 2020: The Decade of Destiny.

All tickets for talks are priced at £2 and can be purchased from PositivEly Treated. Full details can be found on the their Facebook page or via the shop at 3 High Street Passage, Ely.

Jo-Beth Chapman, owner of PositivEly Treated is quoted in reference to the event “We hosted the Ely Pagan and Alternative Fayre in September 2019 and we soon discovered there was an appetite amongst those who attended and those we spoke to afterwards for more events. We settled on the Soul and Serenity Fayre, but concluded that we needed a much bigger venue, so we are working with The Maltings. It’s a venue that complements our desire to create a calm and relaxed environment in the post Festive chaos.”

The Soul and Serenity Fayre will run from 10am until 5pm with talks starting at 10.15am. It is free entry to the main Fayre but talks are priced at £2 – available to prebook.

Raffle tickets will be on sale throughout the day. Workshops will be on a first come, first served basis.

Refreshments will be supplied by The Maltings and a menu (including Vegan and Gluten Free options) is available via the Soul and Serenity Fayre Facebook Event.
