Police warn that burglaries are higher than normal for this time of the year.
Burglary detectives in Ely last week charged three men in connection with two burglaries across East Cambridgeshire.
On Thursday (September 22), police charged two men, aged 32 and 26, with burgling a house under renovation in Burwell on September 15.
A third man, 26, was charged with committing a house burglary in Sutton on the same day.
Three men were remanded to appear before the courts respectively.
The number of burglaries across East Cambridgeshire reported to police are higher than normal for this time of the year.
Sergeant Phil Priestley said:”Burglary – and specifically house burglary – is a forcewide priority.
“We advise people to take every precaution with their home security – locking doors and windows at night, and where possible to invest in security lighting and other affordable security devices.”
