More vehicle crime – Littleport this time

Vehicle CrimeVehicle crime in Littleport spiked on the 9th February with a series of seven works vans attacked.
The offender(s) are targeting tools – and they continue to find them in the backs of vans.
This CCTV still has been taken from a private recording made in Fisher’s Bank, Littleport. While it is difficult to make out the facial features of the suspicious male – we believe that someone might be able to identify this lean individual with dark hair wearing a distinctive baggy looking jacket and jeans.

We would ask to you forward this as much as possible to support the circulation and possible identification of the person shown.
If you know anything about this spate of vehicle crime, contact us on 101 or contact CrimeStoppers on 0800 555 111.
Our message to van drivers is clear – take the time to bring your tools inside at night. Don’t leave your valuables in the van. Park in plain sight, near a camera if possible, and avoid secluded locations.
Police are now offering people with work vehicles a free sticker like the one shown above which you can get by visiting their Facebook page and leaving them a message with just your name and phone number.
As well as adding the sticker to your vehicle, they recommend all vehicles be emptied of valuables on a daily basis.
