Viva is Recruiting Three Creative Apprentices to Work With Us

Viva Arts and Community Group, Soham, open applications for three new paid creative apprenticeship positions. 

These apprenticeships will give three people the opportunity to work for Viva in a paid capacity between the new Viva Theatre (currently under construction at Spencer’s Mill, Mereside, Soham) and Office on a variety of Viva projects, performances and events.

The apprenticeships come with a package of paid training and Level 3 qualification via the National College Creative Industries. The three paid positions are now available to view on the National College Creative Industries website and applications can be made via the gov.uk website for Apprenticeships here

The three positions are; 

Apprentice Cultural Business Administrator

30 hrs/week to include some evenings and possibly occasional weekends | Salary £180/week

Are you a business minded, super organised lover of the arts? Would you like to gain the experience and qualifications needed to become a Cultural Business Administrator while getting paid? If so, this is the apprenticeship for you! Come and work with a dynamic arts charity and help provide the vital administrative and financial support needed to ensure success.

Apprentice Cultural Learning and Participation Officer

30 hrs/week split across Monday to Sunday depending on events planned each week | Salary £180/week

Are you passionate about the arts and bursting with creative ideas to increase participation and learning opportunities? Would you like to gain the experience and qualifications needed to become a Cultural Participation Officer while getting paid? If so, this is the apprenticeship for you! Come and work with a dynamic charity planning, organising and co-ordinating a variety of fun education and community engagement projects.

Apprentice Creative Venue Technician

30 hrs/week split across Monday to Sunday depending on events planned each week | Salary £180/week

Are you a superstar live/creative events tech enthusiast who wants to gain further practical experience, a recognised qualification and a way into the arts industry while getting paid? If so, then this is the apprenticeship for you! You will be working within a dynamic and busy arts charity planning, setting up, running and striking a diverse range of events, projects and performances both within our brand-new venue and other venues.
