Last month Ely Tesco chose Viva Arts and Community Group to be their charity for the month.

This included Viva members going along for a full day of donation collections as well as advertising Viva to the general public. The total of £365.41 was raised and will be put towards Viva’s busy summer!
Viva has been running successfully in Soham since 1997 when it performed its first ever show ‘Bugsy Malone’ and from there they have continued to grow and now perform up to five musicals and plays a year as well as running a local charity shop in Soham. Hetti Wood, Project Coordinator at Viva says: “Viva offers many volunteering opportunities for the general community from performing on stage to being involved backstage in costumes, props, set building, front of house, fundraising events and volunteering in the shop itself. We are always welcoming new members so if you would like to have a go at something different or you are looking to join a fun social group in your local community get in touch!”
