On Monday at Ely Squadron, we presented our two newest Cadet Forces Adult Volunteers with their certificates of appointment as Air Training Corps Civilian Instructors.
CI Callum Hodge previously served as a Cadet Senior NCO in Hampshire Wing and CI Rory Donoghue who, up until December, was our Squadron’s Cadet Warrant Officer.
Both Callum and Rory were keen to inspire the next generation of Air Cadets and are looking forward to attending Wing and Region Courses that will qualify them to lead and train cadets in Leadership, Radio communications, Cyber computing, Mountain biking, climbing walls, fieldcraft and Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.
Welcome back to The Corps Callum and Rory and congratulations on your appointment.

2021 a year in review
A year like no other when we finally got back to face to face activities.
Video credit to Corporal Davis Russellcook for putting together this glimpse into 1094 Squadron’s year. Please share this video and help us strengthen our Air Cadet Squadrons around the UK by encouraging young people and adults to find out more about joining their local RAF Air Cadet unit.
The Royal Air Force Air Cadets are recruiting adult volunteers now and allowing young people aged 12-17 to join their waiting list for their next intake.
