The spring season of Saturday workshops at WWT Welney visitor centre are now available for booking.
Each workshop has a different emphasis, materials are prepared in advance to suit the planned projects.
Booking in advance is essential because workshops have maximum 8 places. This means all participants can have one to one teaching time and plenty of space.

Jane Frost is an experienced workshop leader and can facilitate students of all ages and abilities to develop skills and techniques using willow and other materials. Dates include: February 3rd, March 3rd and April 8th.
Participants at workshops make a wide variety of sculptures, baskets, beautiful and useful garden structure, they also have lots of fun and some return to become very proficient makers. WWT Welney has wonderful facilities for all the family including an education area, warm viewing hides, a shop and cafe and plenty of parking space.
Please note, the roads are sometimes flooded in the winter, so check before visiting if you are traveling from the North, Welney village side of the washes.
