Five teams from Fordham Primary School, Isle of Ely Primary School and Littleport Community Primary School took part in a Years 5 & 6 QuickSticks Hockey tournament on Friday 10th May.
Organized by ActivePlay Education, the tournament was held on the astro pitch at Ely Outdoor Sports Association and the teams played 15 minute games against each other team.
Laurence Maskell of ActivePlay Education said ‘Every single player played really well and showed some fantastic skills. Despite the heat, they all gave it everything and they should all be very proud of themselves!’
The Winners of the tournament were Fordham Primary School 1s and the Runners Up were Isle of Ely Primary School.
Player of the Tournament medals were also given to one person from each team who showed real sportsmanship and teamwork during the tournament.
