Aled rescued from chimney

It’s not only cats that apparently have nine lives – this poor little critter had a lucky escape after it was found stuck in the chimney of Ely Cathedral’s Chapter House last week.
On June 10 the cathedral’s work force came to the rescue and gave their feathered friend a new home in the Dean’s Garden.
It has been named Aled in honour of the cathedral’s special guest, singer, broadcaster and musician Aled Jones, who is performing tonight.
