Congratulations to Ex-Cadet Sergeant Emily Pieters on completing her Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.
Emily aged out from Ely Squadron this year but continued with completing her Gold Award over the summer into Autumn.
For her Residential Emily chose to Sail the west coast of Scotland for a week working as a team on board a tall ship and in keeping with her passion for the water Emily chose to canoe the Swedish rivers and Fjords for her expedition.
Emily’s Gold completes a Quartet of Gold Awards for Ely Squadron this year and illustrates just what can be achieved with perseverance throughout a cadet’s ATC career.
