The award-winning Viva Theatre Company will be staging Dad’s Army in 2017

The production will feature three well-known episodes from the TV series: The Deadly Attachment, The Godiva Affair and Mum’s Army. In addition, a short sketch from the Dad’s Army West End show entitled The Floral Dance will also be included.

The production will be staged in Soham from June 15th to 17th 2017. There is also an option to take a shorter version of the production to The Edinburgh Festival in August 2017. Don’t be put off if you can’t do the Soham and Edinburgh runs – we may be able to make cast adjustments if we do take the show to Edinburgh. We will have some initial orientation and cast meetings pre Christmas with a view to starting rehearsals in January 2017. Rehearsals will take place on Wednesday evenings in Soham usually from 7pm to 9.30pm. Weekend rehearsals, usually Sundays, will start in March 2017 with full weekend rehearsals taking place nearer the performance times.
