Ely Cadets visit The Royal Air Force Museum

On Sunday, Ely Squadron took a minibus full of cadets to The Royal Air Force Museum at IWM Hendon in North London.

Whilst the weather outside was frightful the welcome indoors from the Museum Staff was delightful.

The cadets and accompanying staff enjoyed learning about the history of The RAF and Air Power. The impressive historical aircaft displayed in all six hangars were supported with interesting interactive activities on Air Power, Drones, Artificial Intelligence, and Aircaft Design.

We are looking forward to future visits with day trips already lined up for RAF Marham, RAF Lakenheath and The Imperial War Museum in London.
