Ely Cathedral Environment Lecture with Baroness Brown

Net Zero: Critical, but not Enough is the talk being given by Baroness Brown of Cambridge at the inaugural Ely Cathedral Environment Memorial Lecture on 12th September.

Baroness Brown is a highly respected engineer, who sits in the House of Lords where she chairs the Select Committee on Science and Technology and is the incumbent chair of the Carbon Trust. The event starts at 6.30pm on Tuesday 12th September. Entry is free and will be livestreamed via YouTube.

The Ely Cathedral Environment Memorial Lecture was set up in honour of The Revd Dr Jenny Gage, the Cathedral’s Social Justice Minister, who died after a short illness in September 2022.

Jenny was transformative for the Cathedral’s environment programme and goals, and it is very fitting that this lecture should be part of her enduring legacy.
