Three months ago Ely Charity FC was formed by the board of county side AFC Ely and is managed by Ross Gray.
On the 18th July they played Huntingdon Rangers at Ely City raising £220 for Ely Foodbank as well as collecting food donations.
Following victory on game one they hit the road to Billericay Town FC to play Every Man Matters FC raising money for MIND charity falling to defeat but filling the players with hunger to get back on the road.
Next Sunday, they head to Bromley, London to face West End Actors FC which includes some famous faces in aid of Acting for Others charity.
With fixtures coming up in the coming months vs AFC Awareness (Bedfordshire) and Essex Charity FC there is a lot of excitement around future events of the club full of mixed age and ability players. The team are sponsored by Paragon Construction Ltd.
