Martin’s Day in aid of Dementia UK
Martin’s Day is to remember lifelong Witcham resident Martin Pate who passed away last year from Dementia aged 90.
Martin loved people and he would help anyone with anything from picking up a pint of milk to taking people to hospital for an appointment nothing was to much trouble for him.
All monies raised on the day will go to Dementia UK to help them with there work.
The day will consist of a T20 cricket match between Witcham and Sutton both teams he played for.
There will be stalls in the Village Hall, Cream Teas, Hog Roast and Bar
There is also a Grand Draw with some amazing prizes, and a Cake Draw to win a spectacular cake.
The day is to make people smile which Martin always did
