Summer Holiday Crafts at The Stained Glass Museum: Silk Painting Workshop

An interactive session in the gallery exploring our exhibition of stunning woodland panels by Petri Anderson. Participants will have the opportunity to look closely at the panels and share their views on the subject matter and techniques used. There will also be time to make sketches of their favourite pieces.
The participants will then work in the studio and be shown how to paint one of the pre-guttered woodland silks (10 cm x 15cm) using a range of silk paints, mixing the colours that they would like. They will be able to take the finished piece home on the day to frame or make into a card.
This workshop is suitable for ages 7+
Join us on Wednesday 2 August from 10-11am or from 2-3pm
