Haddenham Beer Festival Raises Thousands

The Haddenham Beer Festival committee are delighted to announce that this year’s beer festival has helped raise over £8000 for local charities and good causes.
Held over the first weekend in July, the beer festival had a record amount of beer on sale (42 varieties), a record amount of ciders (18 to taste) and an amazing array of food stalls, charity stalls and bands – and a record amount of visitors enjoying a great village party.
“This is the third year that this committee has been running the festival and we are all so pleased that we can contribute such an amazing amount back into the community, both as donations, but also throwing a party to bring a village together in such a brilliant way”, commented Rowanne Harritt, the committee secretary.
In the last three years, the Haddenham Beer Festival has now helped to raise over twenty thousand pound, which has been donated to good causes such as the local primary school, the local preschool, the village football academy, the village cricket club, the village library, the village bonfire committee, and many, many more.
