Grab a blanket, grab some friends and head down to the East Lawn of Ely Cathedral on Saturday 1 July as Chapter house Theatre bring the magic of outdoor theatre to Ely with their production of Wind in the Willows. Alive with music and song, this magical family show is presented in traditional costume. On Sunday 2 July head down to Ely’s riverside to catch some Aquafest fun from 12- 5pm, pop into the Babylon Gallery from noon to see the fantastic David Hockney selling exhibition and at 2pm and 3pm join us in the gallery for two half hour drop-in story telling sessions with enchanting and engaging local tales of giants, gods and cake from Snail Tales. No need to book and it’s a ‘Pay what you decide’ show – so the more you’ve enjoyed it the more you put in the bucket at the end of the show.
