Learning at The Stained Glass Museum

Summer Holidays Activities launched for Summer 2021

We cannot wait to welcome families back into our museum this summer. There is a mix of bookable and drop-in activities, some of which are listed below. Some events will be capped due to COVID-19 capacity, however if you want to join a waiting list, then please get in touch.

SG Mini Mornings
During the Summer Holidays we will be running a storytelling and craft session for 3-6 year olds. A lovely calm way to start the morning. Each week will have a different theme: £2.00 per child.

The Great Family Explorer Hunt
During the Summer Holidays, we will be running an interactive family trail and on certain days you will get to create a craft too! Usual entrance fees apply – donations welcome towards craft materials.

Family Fusing
An inter-generational introduction to glass fusing. You and your child will work side-by-side to each create your own unique pieces of kiln-fired art and learn about the process of fusing glass. Tickets are £36.00 which allow for a family unit of 3 (2 adults, 1 child or 1 adult 2 children). Suitable for 7+.
