Notice of Postponement of Open Meetings with Lucy Frazer MP

Parliament was due to be not sitting next week but with the on-going negotiations of Brexit, the House of Commons and MP’s will be required to open and attend. This means that the open meetings arranged with Lucy Frazer MP in Ely and Soham will now be postponed and the events created for the meeting will be amended to Postponed.

The MP for South East Cambridgeshire has asked Spotted in Ely to share an open letter the it’s residents.

Dear Resident,

It is with much regret that I am going to have to postpone my April 10th open meetings in Ely and Soham.

I had planned these meetings for a week when Parliament was not due to be sitting.

Due to the delay to Brexit, Parliamentary recess has now been cancelled.  I am now required to be in Westminster all of next week with the likelihood of votes taking place in the evenings.

I apologise for the late notice and thank you for your understanding on this matter.

I will look to rearrange these meetings at the earliest opportunity.

If you have any issues you wish to raise with me in the meantime, you can always email me at lucy.frazer.mp@parliament.uk

Best wishes,
Lucy Frazer
