The VCAEC, Helping Hands gardening team were lucky enough to gain £1,500 worth of funding from Redrow Home Construction.
This incredibly kind donation has enabled the purchase of a sizeable garden shredder.
VCAEC CEO Mark Goldsack said: “We are extremely grateful to the support received from Redrow and thank them for recognising the incredible work our team and volunteers do. This piece of equipment will enable us to help more members of the local community. At the moment we have to turn down work where there are large shrubs that need removing”
Suzanne Irons, Sales Director for Redrow South Midlands said: “We’re delighted to be supporting VCAEC to provide facilities for its gardening services that benefit the community. We are committed to creating a positive impact on the area surrounding Kings Meadow, for people of all ages, and the community groups which help make Ely a great place to live.”
