A taste of the continent is coming to Ely this Bank Holiday weekend with the return of the Continental Market on Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday, 28 – 30 May.
Experience the sights and sounds of a traditional continental market, with stalls selling everything from freshly made paella, crêpes and tartiflette to artisanal cheese and charcuterie, olive oils and preserves, as well as all kinds of patisserie and confectionery. Plus there will be many crafts including handmade Provencal soaps, amber jewellery, woodcarvings, objets d’art and fashion accessories.
The market runs from Saturday 28 May on Ely High Street alongside the weekly Craft & Collectables Market and Farmers’ Market. On Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday, 29 & 30 May, the Continental Market can be found on Ely Market Place alongside the Sunday and Bank Holiday Markets.

The Continental Market is part of Ely Markets’ “Love Your Local Market” celebrations – a national campaign highlighting the best that markets have to offer.
Find the Continental Market from 10am until 4pm every day along Ely High Street on Saturday and on Ely Market Place on Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday.
There’s also Ely Markets regular weekly Saturday Craft & Collectables Market, Farmers’ Market and Sunday Market alongside the Continental visitors.
