Team Highfield in a Marathon Effort this Easter

2 MARATHONS, 2 COUNTRIES, 1 HEADTEACHER VERSUS 1 MUM – WHO WILL GET THE BEST TIME?

Maz Baker Income Generator at Highfield said “a Marathon is an epic feat of personal strength, fitness and determination but on the 9th April, we will see a Headteacher and a parent complete two gruelling challenges in two different countries, the question is who will do it the quickest?”
Parent of two Highfield learners, Tanya, will be passing on a breakfast of croissants and pain au chocolate and replacing it with the pain of the Paris Marathon. Executive Headteacher, Simon Bainbridge has promised his pupils he won’t be stopping for a portion of chips or an ice-cream on the beach when he battles the Brighton Marathon.  Both will run on Sunday 9th April and both hope to raise lots of funds for the special educational needs school, Highfield Ely, by taking on these challenges.
Ros Grooms Chair of the HFPA said “Team Highfield have been running to raise funds for the school over the past three years and have been able to install  iBoards into many classes, purchase iPads for all classes and generally boost the accessible technology for Highfield learners. It is great to see two of our Team Members undertaking such a mammoth personal effort for our lovely school”. To sponsor either or both of our marathon miracles please donate online via:
