WVC SPARKS bus donation from Greys of Ely

Witchford Village College has taken delivery of its new SPARK bus. Grey’s Coaches of Ely have kindly donated a double decker bus that the school will be converting into an interactive learning space for its SPARK students.

Mrs Georgina Wright, Assistant Principal in charge of the SPARK programme explained:

“The Witchford SPARK programme is designed to identify any student’s particular skills, talents, expertise and potential and provide them with the opportunities to enhance them further. This SPARK could be directly related to their school activities or their interests and hobbies outside of the college. Thanks to the huge generosity of Grey’s, our new SPARK bus will allow us to provide an additional learning space for our programme for the future.”

Mr Baxby, College Principal added “The SPARK bus is a long term project for the college, to raise the aspirations of our students through enhancing the individual SPARK in all of them. We are looking for the local community and local businesses that could join and support us with this exciting project with any financial or logistical support. If you feel you could help please contact the college direct.”
