On Thursday night 1094 (City of Ely) Squadron held its annual dinner which this year was held at The Monastic Hall at Kings School Ely.
The guest of honour was Air Vice Marshal Clive Bairsto CBE. Sir Clive regaled the cadets and staff with tales of his time flying Phantoms and Tornados from Leuchars, Conningsby and on active operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The evening was a great success and afforded the Squadron staff and Civilian Committee the opportunity to say thank you and make a presentation to the Squadron’s previous Commanding Officer Flight Lieutenant Nick Wilson RAF VR (T) now retired.
