Cambridgeshire ACRE is relocating its offices to 72 Market Street, Ely, CB7 4LS with effect from 5 October 2015. This is the old City of Ely Council chambers next to Citizens Advice Bureau.
After a review of our future business needs, we have concluded that, in light of changing working practices and new technology, our office space in Littleport is both under-utilised and inefficient to run.
A smaller, more open-plan office, where work space can be fully utilised has been rented in central Ely. This will provide more suitable office accommodation for the Charity’s business needs going forward.
As part of this change, we are adopting more efficient working practices. Investment has been made into a new Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) phone system and a Cloud computer system. This will allow staff to work more effectively from any location and help to sustain good communications.
We are working to ensure minimum business disruption during the migration of the technology to new systems and during the office move itself. However, there could be short periods of time when we are offline and unable to respond immediately to emails or phone calls. Please bear with us and be assured we will have things up and running as soon as possible.
From 5 October 2015, please remember to amend your address contact details for Cambridgeshire ACRE. Our main office phone number will remain the same (01353 860850), as will the current direct dial numbers used by individual staff. Our website will be updated with a new location map and details of where to find us in Ely.
