On Wednesday 30th October, Babylon Gallery will open a short, special exhibition of work created by some of its staff and volunteers.
The gallery will host the work of 12 artists; showcasing glassware, photography and paintings, most of them for sale, with a percentage of the proceeds going to support the charity’s work.
Claire Somerville, chief executive commented: “Babylon Arts has a small staff team and works with many volunteers in the gallery, at Ely Cinema and across our projects. Their support is vital to the success and reach of our work and we’re always keen to hear from others who would like to get involved.”
Claire added: “We’re so grateful to everyone who helps us provide more arts and cultural opportunities for the community; this exhibition is a chance to see their own creative talents.”
The Home Grown exhibition is on until Sunday 10th November. The Babylon Gallery is open Tuesday to Sunday 12pm to 4pm.
