After the success of our March event, Ely Tigers RUFC are once again hosting a charity Ladies Day on September 28th in aid of Breast Cancer Now.
We would love to see as many members of our local community there as possible. As well as a delicious afternoon tea, prosecco and rugby, we will be holding a raffle with a host of fabulous prizes!
You could be the winner of coffee and cake for two at the delightful Foy in Cambridge Quayside, or a £30.00 gift voucher for Eric’s Fish & Chips in beautiful Thornham, North Norfolk. You might bag a big box of fudge from Cambridge Fudge Kitchen, a gift voucher or some indulgent hair products to pamper yourself ,donated by Scruffs. You could treat yourself to a bit of retail therapy with a gift voucher for Pocket Watch & Petticoats, the brand new retro and 50s vintage style boutique that has opened in Cambridge. Our very own Becky Case-Upton has donated both a sports massage (worth £45.00) and a reflexology session (worth £35.00). We also have an Afternoon Tea voucher from The White Horse at stunning Brancaster Staithe, a delicious breakfast for two generously donated by Habis of Littleport and not one but TWO £25.00 gift vouchers for Bread & Meat in Cambridge! If all that wasn’t enough we are also giving away two Grandstand/Paddock tickets for a November race meet at Newmarket Race Course, courtesy of the Jockey Club.
Ladies Day attendees will receive one free raffle entry included in their ticket price but we’d strongly encourage you to invest in a few more strips. With so many lovely prizes available (and more rolling in all the time), the more chances to win the better!!
As per the attached poster, tickets are £17 each and can be purchased via BACS transfer. See the poster for relevant account details. Please ensure you include your name as the booking reference. Raffle tickets are £1.00 each and can be purchased in advance also, just pop us an email to the same address and let us know how many you’d like, your name and telephone number. Or pop down to the club on a training/game day, one of us will normally be there with our book! Of course, you can purchase raffle tickets on the day, we will have our card machine or cash payment available.
We will also be waggling Breast Cancer Now buckets at you on the day. Please give generously.
