A woman had a lucky escape when her car smashed into a tree in a dyke at Littleport on Wednesday.
Shortly before midday police were called to Victoria Street, after a driver suffered a medical emergency before losing control of a car near The Swan pub.
The 60-year-old woman was found conscious and breathing, shaken but otherwise not seriously injured.
Her car was written off. No one else was involved in the crash.
PC Jack Briggs from Cambridgeshire Police attended, along with colleagues from the ambulance service.
