They have developed a new mobile app aimed at one of modern parenting’s biggest time-sucks; writing thank you notes! A Childs Birthday Party, Christmas, Baby Shower.

GiftSnap turns 20+ post party thank you notes, from half an evening of writing into minutes!
Developer Adam Lord said “The app lets parents photograph each gift as it’s opened, tag the sender by voice or text, and have AI write a warm, personalised thank you note within seconds. Cards can be printed at home or sent directly via WhatsApp, email, or text. The app tackles two parental headaches in one: logging who gave what at the party (one-handed, in the chaos), and the hours of writing that normally follow”.
Parents can choose from 13 illustrated card designs, including Christmas, Hanukkah, Eid, Diwali, and Lunar New Year, alongside other themes such as unicorns, football, princesses, and space.
All photos remain on the user’s device. The app is fully compliant with UK GDPR and the Information Commissioner’s Office’s Children’s Code. It requires no account to use, and collects no data for marketing.
The idea came to Adam at a friend’s child’s birthday party in Cambridgeshire.
“She was sat on the floor, phone in hand, frantically typing into her Notes app. Notes like, ‘Sam brought the Lego, Mia brought the unicorn book, the squishy thing was from… Lucy? Or Lily?”
She was always going to write the thank you notes, that’s what good parents do. But between the logging and the writing, it was going to swallow hours of her week.”
