Elderly patient airlifted to hospital

The East Anglia Air Ambulance was called to Littleport on Monday, after an elderly woman suffered a broken leg.
Dr Nathan Howes and critical care paramedic Jemma Varela attended the incident in Parson’s Lane yesterday lunchtime, after receiving reports of a woman in her 90s having a fall.
The medics treated the patient before sedating her. She was then airlifted to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge.
