Cadet Flight Sergeant Rory Donoghue from 1094 (City of Ely) Squadron Air Training Corps Royal Air Force Air Cadets met The Princess Royal last Friday at RAF Wyton.
In his role as The Lord Lieutenant’s Cadet for Cambridgeshire, Flight Sergeant Donoghue was in attendance at the MAGPAS air ambulance base on the runway of RAF Wyton to greet the Princess Royal on her visit to this wonderful charity.
Magpas were delighted to have welcomed HRH The Princess Royal to the Magpas Air Ambulance Operations Base. The purpose of HRH’s visit was to find out more about the vital service and enhanced training the charity provides.
Magpas Air Ambulance is proud to have saved countless lives in Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and Peterborough, but our call outs also cover over 12 counties in and around the East of England. This charity is a national leader in the training of senior doctors and paramedics wishing to specialise in Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine.
The continued support from everyone who raises the funds to keep this crucial service running 24/7 is greatly appreciated. As ever this funding comes in the form of generous public donations.
