Ely Cadet raises over £600 for Maggies Charity

Congratulations to Ely Squadron’s Cadet Jake Earl-Clarke who has raised a grand total of £668 for Maggie’s Charity in Cambridge by promising to dye his hair pink.

Having obtained the permission of his 1094 Squadron’s Commanding Officer and his School’s Principal, Jake promised to dye his hair pink if he raised £100 for Maggies Charity but Jake surpassed this goal and raised £668 instead.

Maggies Centre in Cambridge have been supporting Jake’s Grandmother through her treatment at Addenbrookes Hospital.

We would like to say a huge thank you to all those who so generously donated to support Maggies who in turn support those undergoing cancer treatment and their families.

For those of you with an interest in Uniform standards, Jake’s hair will be back to its natural state by the time his Squadron reopens………He hopes 😉
