City residents Ivar and Martina Jenssen, the team behind ely.myshopislocal.co.uk, are expanding.
The Grand Opening of Stamford My Shop is Local was held on July 11 th at the Arts Centre in Stamford. Attending was the Deputy Mayor and Mayoress of Stamford, Councillor Max Sawyer and Mrs Audrey Sawyer, the local press and about 30 of the town’s independent shop keepers and other friends of My Shop is Local. Stamford My Shop is Local covers both Stamford and Oakham as well as the areas in-between. Martina said: “We are really pleased to provide an online shopping solution
Stamford My Shop is Local covers both Stamford and Oakham as well as the areas in-between. Martina said: “We are really pleased to provide an online shopping solution for both the independent local shops and the residents of Stamford and Oakham. The shopkeepers here are just fantastic, they are very supportive and they have really embraced the concept and My Shop is Local. We are sure that working together with them, we will be able to provide a great service for the residents of Stamford, Oakham and surrounding villages.”
This is the first location outside of Ely for My Shop is Local, but we understand from the entrepreneurs that more locations are in the pipeline. The local day to day operations in Stamford and Oakham will be looked after by the local team based in Stamford. For those that want to have a look, just google Stamford My Shop is Local.
