he year is 673 AD, Etheldreda has fled from the dishonourable advances of her second husband, the young King of Northumbria Egfrith. She is hiding in peace, in Ely. King Egrith is keen to find her. A sinful monk, within her clergy, has plans to betray her and let Egrith know where she is by letter. As her loyal protectors, your challenge is to find the letter and escape before it gets to the King – you can save Ethedreda and she will remain safe and protected for the rest of her life.
With minor tweaks and added sneaks, this version of The Saint and the Sinner is designed for younger minds and offers a wonderful boredom buster for the Summer Holidays!
