An 8-week ‘Exploring What Matters’ course will be running at Ely Cathedral conference centre this September. The content has been developed by Action for Happiness, a national charity who aim to create a happier world, by sharing ways in which people can take action for their own wellbeing and that of their community.
The Happy Cafe Ely team, who ran the course last March, will be running the course again this year. In 2018 the course was run 105 times, by volunteers across the country. Based on the feedback received by Action for Happiness, the course run by the Happy Cafe Ely team ranked in the top 10.
The course covers a wide range of topics and explores questions such as ‘what actually makes us happy? Can we be happier at work? And What makes for a great relationship? During the course, these topics and more, will be explored in detail with a group of like minded people. The course is open to anyone who would like to be part of a more positive and caring society.
The course is free and you can sign up on eventbrite. When you sign up, Action for Happiness will give you the opportunity to make a voluntary donation toward the cost of running the course.
Happy Cafe Ely was the first happy Cafe in Cambridgeshire and started in July 2017. It meets on the first and third Wednesday of every month at Julia’s tearoom, between 10.30 and 12.00.
