Following on from last months Ambulance Service Visit, on Thursday night with half the Squadron on holiday, the remaining cadets and staff visited Ely Fire Station.
The cadets and new recruits enjoyed an evening focussing on fire prevention and the role of the Fire Service as well as practical demonstrations of just a fraction of the equipment used by the fire service.
On final parade Flying Officer Donoghue presented two pairs of blue ATP Wings to Leading Cadet Aaron Gomez-Serrano, and Corporal Robinson, plus two Gold Road Marching Badges to Corporals Murfitt and Minchin.
Last but not least, Sergeant Joe Harris was presented with his Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, the first Bronze, Silver and Gold DofE triple in more than a decade culminating 5 years of service for Sergeant Harris.
