Jane Fellows takes inspiration for her work from the glass she observes everyday while working at The Stained Glass Museum in Ely Cathedral. Jane started work their as a volunteer 6 years ago.
She has been doodling since young and while taking a break with children she created her work while at home and from her hobby came various works which she felt was good enough to display and sell.
Jane uses various wildlife creatures including birds which have the stain glass effect, several can be seen below.
In her own words, “Colourful, modern, fresh dog portraits in soft pastel. Beautiful vibrant prints and greetings cards inspired by stained glass“
Her work is currently on display at The Market Street Brasserie in Ely until 21st November. For more information see: https://www.spottedinely.com/event/jane-fellows-exhibition
