Isle of Ely Rowing for Addenbrookes

Over this bank holiday weekend, 32 members of the Isle of Ely Rowing Club are taking part in a marathon challenge and raising money for Addenbrookes Hospital.

Members that have access to thier own indoor rowing machines have volunteered to row a marathon distance over the Easter weekend.

Some families are taking this on as a relay and doing the whole distance in one sitting and some are taking it in stints throughout the weekend.

The original intention was to try and raise £500 but we are currently very close to the £3k mark.

The club hopes that this will go a little way in showing appreciation for all of the hard work and sacrifice being given by our frontline NHS workers.
