Little Thetford Acorns Pre-school Welcomes Prospective Parents to Open Day

Little Thetford Acorns Pre-School (LTA) will welcome prospective new parents and their children at its annual Open Day on Monday 30th October.
Families are invited to drop in any time between 12noon and 2pm to come and look round the well recognised local pre-school, speak to the manager, meet the staff and get a feel as to whether the pre-school is right for their child.
Little Thetford Acorns, located in Little Thetford village just 3 miles south of Ely, currently offers child-led pre-school care to children between the ages of 2years 5months and 5 years. Having recently celebrated its 40th birthday, LTA was proud to be recognised as a “Good” Pre-School by Ofsted in August 2016.
“We really look forward to welcoming prospective families to our fantastic pre-school,” says LTA manager, Zoe Corley (who is a qualified Early Years Teacher). “Our Open Day is the perfect opportunity as it’s half term for our attending children, so the staff and I can focus fully on welcoming and talking to our prospective new parents… all over a cup of coffee and a slice of home made cake, of course!”
Firmly-rooted in the local community, LTA boasts a roomy purpose-built setting, a large garden and high level-trained staff. In addition, the pre-school will offer Forest School outdoor learning opportunities (where children are ‘encouraged and inspired through positive, hands-on outdoor experiences’) in the new academic year when manager, Zoe, completes her Forest School training.
