Local Riders Master the Norwich ABC 10

Ely & District/B&T Motor Repair riders were in action on both days of the weekend, on Saturday, Cliff Loveday and Phil Gosling took part in the Norwich ABC 10, where club honours went to Cliff Loveday, but only just, with a finishing time of 23:06, just three seconds ahead of Phil Gosling who crossed the finishing line on 23:09, in the evening Matt Eley rode in the Whitewebbs CC 10 on the F20/10 course, where he finished 4th in a time of 20:57, on Sunday it was the turn of Martin Holmes and Geoff Brewster, as both took part in the ECCA 25, with Holmes finishing in a time of 57:04, while Brewster crossed the finish in a time of 58:56.

Sunday saw the 5th Round of the Mud, Sweat & Gears Mountain Bike series, held at Craver Barracks, riding in the Grand Vet race was John McAndrew, who finished in 3rd place, completing 6 laps in the allocated time of 1 and ½ hours, also in the same category was Paul Harbinson who finished in 15th place, again completing 6 laps, in the Sport race, Matt Eley finished in 4th place, despite coming off three times during his 6 laps.
