Lucy Frazer pays respects to Jo Cox

South Cambs MP Lucy Frazer has today paid tribute to murdered Labour MP for Birstall, Jo Cox. She was attacked last week and died in her home constituency.
In a Facebook status, Lucy said, “I am deeply saddened by the senseless murder of Jo Cox MP last week, and my thoughts are with her family at this difficult time. Jo was not only a conscientious and effective MP, but also a wife, mother, sister and daughter.
“As Members of Parliament we have all been elected to represent our constituencies, and tantamount to this is remaining accessible to our constituents. This is part of our democracy.
“I am in the Chamber this afternoon to pay tribute to Jo.”
